With the Beautiful Mom Nancy I wanted to experiment the look of Lavender and Plum Diva. This look is great for every day. I know you will get a lot of compliments... if you leave your house ;) or by the UPS guy! plums work on ALL eye colors. Everyone can wear them... even if you have a darker skin tone. Just use shadows with a more intense purple pigment.

Products I used to get this eye look:

Brush 13 (highlighting and contouring), 18 (lid and liner)
Liner Blanc Khol, Fumee Waterproof
Shadows Lavender Girl (lid), Pink Pearls (highlight), Snap (crease), Clock Strikes 12 (outer crease and liner)

Morning MakeUp Call Katie! Eye shadows in shades of silver and slate

Katie is about to turn 22 and for her birthday her sweet mom Susan brought her in for a complete Fall Trend Makeover at my Bloomingdale's National Event. The top 2 Fall Trends of 2011 are Plums or Shades of Gray! Katie had never tried Gray shadows before so I showed her and am now showing all of you just how to do it! I would do this look for night time, a date, or a dramatic day look. It sparkles and shines and goes extremely well whenever you all wear silver or platinum jewelery. Katie has beautiful almond shaped blue eyes but this look will look good on all eye shapes and all eye colors... Hope you can try it and let me know how it goes!

Products you will need:

Aquatique Eye Shadow Base in Nude

Brushes 13 (highlight and crease), 18 (lid and liner)

5 Pan Eye Shadow Palette in Gris Fatale

Bronzer in Bronze Solaire

Liners in Black Ebony Khol and Slate Artliner

Hypnose Doll Lash Mascara... a new FAVORITE!!!

Jordana Brewster... My Beautiful Canvas

Good Morning Everyone... I've been on vacation and am back rested and tan! I wanted to share with you the time I met Jordana Brewster and did her makeup for a great cause. Lancome got together with the Lollipop Theatre Network and created an opportunity to bring movies and films and also time with the stars in the films available to view by children in hospitals. I was so glad to get to attend the event hosted by Jennie Garth, Jordana Brewster and myself in Beverly Hills. Jordana is a down to earth gorgeous girl with a great face to paint. Her glow came from within and my makeup just polished her off! What a great event and night!
Jordana's look was soft and smokey... It was covered by blogs all over and I wanted to share with you the look. Have fun with it!
Blog Miss Whoever You Are shared the How to Get the Look at link: http://www.misswhoeveryouare.com/2009/11/get-look-jordana-brewster-at-launch-of.html
Here is a section of what they wrote:
First, Darais lined the top lash line with Lancôme’s Le Crayon Khôl Eye Liner in Black Coffee, which he smudged upwards. Several Color Design Eye Shadows in a variety of sultry shades defined the eyes: Mannequin all over the lid, Waif on the crease, Impress on the lower lash line and Filigree on the brow bone as a highlighter. Ôscillation Powerbooster topped with Définicils Mascara resulted in “amazing lashes,” said Darais. “It’s my favorite duo!”

Here Comes The Bride!!! Bridal Makeup Chat and Contest

The last time I went home to visit my parents I came across their wedding picture. I could gaze at it forever... as I often would as a kid.... and now know why. In constant awe at what these two lovers found in each other, and to create, teach and bring life to me in such love... I owe my whole life to them... The person they have helped me become. (Above) My parents Christopher and Vicki
I find joy in sharing a wedding day with a Bride. They need the most help to calm, to bring peace, to give confidence, to tell them to breath... and not cry their mascara off... As Makeup Artist I sometimes feel more like a therapist to them... It's all good... as long as what I do still takes their partners breath away when they see each other!

I not only work on Television Weddings, see post:

What I want from ALL of you is your Bridal Photo!!! Send it to morningmakeupcall@gmail.com
and I will post it on here... Don't be embarrassed if your look was trendy, you did it yourself, it all got cried off, or you just plain looked like you got married in Vegas! I'm not going to judge you... What I will do is give away 2 lucky girls who participate a free mascara!!!
